Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire
I went into Frozen Empire cautiously optimistic, especially after hearing some mixed buzz, but it turned out way better than I expected.
The Instigators
The Instigators doesn’t exactly break new ground, and its ending feels a bit rushed, but it compensates with impressive car chases and some intriguing political commentary on heroism and the armed forces.
Deadpool & Wolverine
The stakes in Deadpool & Wolverine felt low, and in the end, it was a good time, but not groundbreaking.
The Fall Guy
The Fall Guy is one of the most entertaining movies I’ve seen in a long time. It’s a joyful throwback to the '90s action films that shaped my love for cinema, wrapped up in a fun, meta commentary on the film industry itself.
Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is incredibly fun and the action is beyond impressive. Much was made about Tom Cruise's motorcycle jump, but I particularly enjoyed the train car falling sequence.
The Killer
I never thought I would love watching the various ways a man could dispose of trash.
Jurassic Park
Jurassic Park is the ultimate example of the perfect summer blockbuster. It's thrilling, awe inspiring, funny, thoughtful and above all, entertaining.
