I Want You Back

I Want You Back knows what it is and does it really well. If you heart romantic comedies, this will quickly be added to one of your favorites. It both exists in an implausible world but somehow is both relatable and believable. Charlie Day and Jenny Slate always bring laughs and energy to anything that they are in and the fact that the two are paired together in this film is a delight. They would be voted as the "Wittiest Couple" in their high school. They steal the spotlight in any room they are in, yet, everybody loves them for it.
Like most rom-coms the plot is predictable, but you won't expect certain scenarios like a new take on a musical number from Little Shop of Horrors or the most cringe-inducing, unromantic threesome that you can think of. I Want You Back is a hidden gem and I hope people can find it in the ever-expansive library of Amazon Prime.
