Nosferatu is a gorgeous, atmospheric and deeply unsettling film that will stick with you long after the credits roll. But much like the count himself, it lingers a little too long in the dark.

Kinds of Kindness is not the most straightforward film. Lanthimos always challenges his audience, and I found myself scratching my head, trying to decipher what he was really trying to say. But that’s part of what makes him such a brilliant director.

Whether your initial response to Poor Things is visceral or in disgust, it's a film that you won't soon forget.
